Hi
I tryed to install the new pos tracker but gets the error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /var/www/vhosts/counterearth.net/subdomains/test/httpdocs/includes/adodb/adodb.inc.php on line 430
Someone that have any ide why?

What version of php are you running?
5.0.32-7etch6

too low, needs to be at least 5.1.2, the more recent, the better off you will be.
I have updated to version 6:4.4.4-8+etch6 of the php now and still have the same problem

I have updated to version 6:4.4.4-8+etch6 of the php now and still have the same problem
That is still to low, the php version for that is 4.4.4. Debian packages tend to be a bit behind.
I saw it it is 5.2 now but got a new error thinking it some problem communcation with my mysql database
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /var/www/vhosts/counterearth.net/subdomains/test/httpdocs/includes/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 363
Please if you could let me know if it is connection problem towards my mysql or if it another problem

line 8 in my config.php file is
$eve_filepath = /var/www/vhosts/counterearth.net/subdomains/test/httpdocs/;
don't know what to do

Dunno what script you have in your hand Rilda but it's definitly not this version of the tracker since the eve_filepath value is not something you need to change or even touch.

Lysander, I can't reproduce the bug anymore with the fix. Think you could try from a complete svn checkout (if possible or course). Maybe I touched something else but can't seem to find a change relevant to it.
It was my own fault I read wrong in config.php and thought I hade to change the path in the file so it is fixed now thanks for the replay
